Sampled Pastures

Evenings among the lilypads . . .

The songs in this album were made by sampling the ambience of a local area around here and using that as the bed on top of which chip sounds would be added. Many hours were spent in local nature capturing miscellaneous sounds, and it was a very creative and fulfilling experience. The melodic work is also some of the best up to this point; it seemingly came from an inspired place.
